Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will lead the structural analysis, design, and modeling of complex architectural and civil infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and digital technology teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable structural solutions. As a senior member, you will also mentor junior engineers and uphold rigorous quality assurance across all engineering deliverables

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, masonry, and foundation systems using advanced engineering software
  • Prepare, review, and sign off on detailed structural calculation packages, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with architectural, BIM, and digital design teams to ensure seamless multi-disciplinary integration and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct structural peer reviews, code compliance assessments, and risk evaluations for complex building structures
  • Provide technical site support, structural assessments, and field oversight to verify construction alignment with design intent and safety standards
  • Mentor and guide junior structural engineers, establishing best practices in design methodologies and structural engineering standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of proven experience in structural design engineering within a progressive consulting or design firm
  • Professional Engineering (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) license preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard structural software packages (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Revit Structure, AutoCAD, or Tekla).
  • Deep knowledge of international building codes, structural design standards, seismic load analysis, and load combination principles.
  • Strong technical writing skills and precise professional communication abilities for client and stakeholder collaboration.
